History of Mainframe : In older days, No one would knew, one of the computer wont get succeed. But after a long year back,it blast and enter into this world. The name is big box, Mainframe.
Here the entire concept is different. One application program. One default compilation program. One database. One storage access method. One designing tool. One interecting tool. Likewise, It stands with his own leg. Huge volume of data storage device were handled by this operating system, later it came to be the compact box.
z/OS, Operating system is a server which handled by relational database. But, the name of this part is different. DB2. The name which given by IBM. The father of Mainframe.
VSAM, Store an access methods.JCL, One of the control language in mainframe which handles by utilities. ISPF, Interaction action takes places. CICS, Online interaction action takes place.
COBOL, One of the basic language for creating the business applications. It could develop all types of programming like concatenating, redefining, renaming, static & dynamic copying etc.
